Volunteer Opportunities

Please check any areas where you might be interested in volunteering. You are not making a commitment at this time. The activities below are traditional activities and might not be offered this year.

Ongoing Opportunities

Decorations: help decorate the school's entryway and hallways for special events and holidays. Workroom: make copies, laminate, etc. at school. Commit to a two-hour shift one Wednesday morning/month. Merchandise: help fill merchandise orders placed online and assist with merchandise sales at events. Farm at Satchel Ford: opportunities vary including tending to the garden, assisting teachers with farm curriculum and tending to the chickens. Campus Beautification: help revitalize the courtyards and planters. Possible weekend workdays. Braves Buddies: tutoring younger grades in math. Commit to a one-hour shift one morning/week. No tutoring experience is needed, and training will be provided. WatchDOGS (Dads of Great Students): father figures over age 18. Commit to be on campus for one school day. School Tours: give tours of our school to prospective new families. Training is provided.

Event Opportunities

Fall Fundraiser: help pass out daily prizes and organize and distribute orders. Picture Day assistant: help with school photos. Freaky Friday: help plan and set up our annual Halloween carnival. Many volunteers are needed. Book Fair: help students find and purchase books. Braves Benefit Auction Acquisitions: Help gather exciting items and experiences for our annual auction. VIP Day: help provide hospitality to visitors and escort VIPs to the classrooms. Sweetheart Dance: help plan the dance and work stations during the event. Valentine's Day Teacher Lunch: help serve lunch to teachers during this Brave Arts lunch. Boosterthon Fun Run: help distribute water during the Fun Run. ArtFest: Help secure visiting artists and coordinate event day. Teacher Appreciation Week Field Day: Supervise and assist at individual activity stations. Neon Dance: help decorate and staff this event for 5th grade students. Parents of younger students can help too!
