Volunteer Opportunities

Please select all your areas of interest below. For each opportunity you select, a PTO volunteer will email you with more information.

Decorations: Help decorate for PTO events throughout the school year. Workroom: Commit to a two-hour shift on Wednesday mornings. Make copies, laminate, etc. in the teacher workroom at school. Merchandise: Help fill merchandise orders placed online and assist with merchandise sales at events. The Farm at Satchel Ford: Tending to the garden and chickens; assisting teachers with farm curriculum. Campus beautification: Help nurture courtyards and planters with possible weekend workdays. Braves Buddies: Commit to a one-hour shift one morning each week. Tutor first graders in math. No tutoring experience is needed, and training will be provided. Watch DOGS (Dads of Great Students): Father figures over the age of 18 commit to be at school for one day. Visit classrooms, attend lunch with students, participate in recess, etc. Lunch Buddies: Attend lunch with a student to offer consistent mentorship, positive support and encouragement. School tours: Give tours of the school to prospective new families. Training will be provided. Lost & Found: Help keep lost items organized throughout the year Event support: Help PTO plan and execute events during the year. Events include Fall Fundraiser, Freaky Friday, Book Fair, Braves Benefit, VIP Day, Sweetheart Dance, Art Fest, Valentine's Luncheon, Teacher Appreciation Week, Field Day, Farm Fest, Neon Dance. Optional sign-ups with duties will be provided for each event.
